Mad Men Yourself
As I said in a previous post I love the television show Mad Men. After watching the Season 3 premier on-line today with my lady friend she came across a game that will take more time out of your day than it should, but is surprisingly entertaining: MadMenYourself. Although the style of the show merits admiration, the smoking certainly does not.
Don Draper, eat your heart out.

Esquire: Best Dressed Real Man
I have never been a fan of Esquire's Best Dressed Real Man competition. However, Dan T. who is one of this year's finalist, may have just change my mind.
One thing that I must find out: How does a 22 year old student afford such great clothes?! Well done. Check out his blog at http://www.mensstyleblog.blogspot.com/

Jeans under $100
If you think that you need to spend $200-$300 on a pair of Seven or Rock & Republic jeans to look good, think again. GQ is not usually known for showcasing clothing that is actually affordable for the vast majority of men, but their Best Jeans Under $100 on-line article is a pleasant departure. Appropriate for these lean times.

Levi's 501 jeans at Club Monaco
Despite numerous attempts, I have never been able to find a pair of Levi's 501 jeans that fit me well...until I found a pair at Club Monaco in Montreal, and I bought two pairs to mark the occasion.

Bow Ties
Aim for this...
...not this
And please, no clip-on or "ready-tied" numbers, take the time to learn how to tie a bow tie yourself. At the end of a long night you'll look as good with it hanging from your neck as when it was neatly tied under your chin.
Let Mr. O'brien (aka the Style Guy) show you how it is done:

Two of my own from Brooks Brothers
